The crazy time of year is here. It's a good thing I love football season because life gets nuts. We've been spending a lot of time at the football field watching practice or waiting around to pick up Doug (I have to remind myself a lot lately that it's a frugal decision to only have one car! It does enable us to see more of him though). Still trying to figure out how to eat dinner before 8:00 (or even 9) at night. But that's the fun of it I guess. Doug has been in the paper quite a few times already - need to sit down and scan those so I can upload them. PV had it's first game and lost - a complete heartbreaker of a game. But we had a lot of visitors which is one of my favorite things about this time of year.
The girls are cheerleading for the little league in the community. They are completely loving it. I'm honestly surprised at how much Kaela enjoys it. She is a total student - really paying attention to memorize the cheers. And she has learned quickly how to shake her hips (probably won't be doing cheering once they get a little older but that's another story - it's cute at this age). It is starting to grow on Kyree. She just isn't interested in practicing. Only wants to go to the games. Can't even describe her when she cheers - hopefully I'll have a video to upload soon. She has really taken the coach's instructions to cheer loudly to heart.

This summer has been very busy for me with work. Now that school has started, things are going a little more smoothly. I am working at least 30 hours a week now (closer to 40 lately) so it's much easier to get that done with only Hale home. Theoretically, things will slow down at the end of the month (end of fiscal year) but proposal season doesn't seem to have as defined boundaries as it once did so we will see. So my days are spent mostly working and trying to fit in housework and running errands.
