It's Spirit Week at Kaela's school. They have a theme for every day and today was pajama day. This picture was taken at the end of the day so she did not want her picture taken but she stood still long enough for me to get it, even if she does have a grimace on her face. She was very proud of her ribbon, which said "It's cool to say NO to drugs" (or something along those lines). We were talking about that on the way home from the bus stop and after a few moments she said, "Mom..... what ARE drugs?" :) Probably good to know what you're saying no to.
It still seems weird to me that I have a school age child. She spends most of her waking hours now writing words. She asks how to spell words (constantly) and then writes them on paper or our white board. She's actually doing that now, as I type.
While she was at school, Kyree and I did our weekly grocery shopping. We picked up some candy corn in honor of our favorite song right now on Noggin, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCDsOAYiaqY. Kyree was thrilled, though none of us particularly like candy corn. But I guess that's the point.
And just for fun, here's Kyree wearing her knit cap that her cousins Katie and Lauren made for her last year.

Man! We don't get Noggin anymore. :(
Your girls are so cute!!! Hope your candy corn was good!!!
I bet it's so fun though to be able to hang out with just Kyree at times. Or maybe that novelty is wearing off and now it's just normal? Kaela is getting so smart...how fun!
I love that she asked what drugs were. That is funny how we assume they just know all these things.
