Snow Day!

We got snow! It's pretty rare to get snow where we are and this is the first real snow we've gotten since we've lived here. I'm not a snow or cold lover but it is beautiful and I was very happy that both Doug and Kaela got the day off. Plus it was totally worth it to see the girls' excitement when they awoke to all the white. And by Saturday it's supposed to be in the 60s so I can live with this.
Girls getting all bundled up to go out. Can't even see Kyree's eyes.

My hyacinths were already starting to bloom. Pretty pinks and purples. I really hope the snow doesn't kill them. This is my first attempt at bulb planting and I've been so anxious hoping they alll come up okay. The daffodils and tulips have also pushed through but haven't bloomed so hoping they will be okay.

The awesome snowman that Doug and the girls built!

Right now I'm watching two beatiful bright red cardinals in the snow in the backyard. I really wish I had a nice zoom on my camera so I could capture it. It's beautiful.
