This weekend Doug had a coaches' conference at Virginia Beach in the Barclay Towers hotel which is right on the beach. We decided at the last minute to all go with him. There was a great conference rate on the hotel and we decided to make a mini vacation of it. We had a great time. The weather was terrible on Saturday, but I took the girls to the aquarium, which was a great indoor activity. It was a nice aquarium and much cheaper than the Baltimore one. They mostly enjoyed being in a hotel and especially swimming in the indoor pool. I enjoyed getting out of the house and having a view of the ocean from our window. Tried to take some pictures of the beach but it was so rainy they didn't turn out too well.
